MMEC Awarded Flagship Renewable Energy Project by KACARE

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – April 21, 2022 – Moataz Makki Engineering Consultancy (MMEC) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a flagship renewable energy project by the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE).
The project is part of KACARE’s program to localize renewable energy technologies and support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goal of increasing the share of renewable energy in the energy mix.

MMEC will be responsible for the development of a prototype for renewable energy technologies.
The project will involve the design, construction, and testing of a new type of solar panel. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months.
MMEC is partnering with Zed Solar, a leading provider of solar energy solutions, to deliver the project.
Zed Solar will provide technical support and expertise in the design and construction of the solar panels.
The project is expected to create a number of jobs and contribute to the growth of the renewable energy sector in Saudi Arabia.
